Our Fireside Chat this month will feature two amazing speakers who will discuss their experience in navigating the web3 space as entrepreneurs in Africa. 

Speaker - Jason Eisen
Jason is a serial entrepreneur and DAOist, speaker, author, and recovering consultant. In 2017 he co-founded and currently serves as CEO of UTU Technologies, building the decentralized trust infrastructure of the internet, and leading one of the first utility token sales on the continent. In 2013 he founded MARAMOJA Transport, the oldest taxi app in Africa, serving as CEO until 2017 when he transitioned to their board.

Speaker - David Nandwa
David is a repeat technical founder and Software Engineer, currently the CEO & CTO of HoneyCoin, a financial technology building web3 and web2 infrastructure for consumers and businesses. David is also a founding member of PandoDAO & AfricaDAO both multi-million dollar DAO funds focused on investing in Africa.

Moderator - Jessica Colaço
Jessica is a tech entrepreneur, Computer Scientist, and Talent Strategist. She is a TED fellow and Haramabean. She co-founded Brave (an HR tech company) and co-founded the iHub (Tech Hub) with Erik Hersman. She is currently the Managing Partner at Platform01, where she works with growth companies to align their business goals and talent strategy.

She is currently the first female in tech and music to release a music single (Momentum) as an NFT in Kenya. She is passionate about how ecosystems arise and evolve over time and has built various communities in the last 10+ years from tech and product, startups, corporates, and investors. She is now working her way into the Web3 community.
