Jack has over 15 years of experience across various business functions and was the MD for Microsoft’s Research and Development Facility (Africa Development Centre). He is currently the Technology Director Office of the CTO at Google in Africa. He also sits on various boards.
He has a wealth of knowledge in management, telecommunications, financial services, and emerging technology. He previously served as the Managing Director at Equity Bank’s Finserve Africa, where he is lauded for Equitel and the Eazzy App, leading the bank’s innovations and technologies for two years as the General Manager.
Before joining Equity Group, he held senior positions as the Head of Information Security and IT operations at the then NIC bank, before which, he held different positions at Stanbic Bank as well as British Telecom, with assignments in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Peru, and Japan. He is a Non-Executive Director at Credit Bank PLC.
He holds two Master’s degrees in Management and Advanced Computer Science both from Harvard University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Leicester.

Jessica is a tech entrepreneur, Computer Scientist, and Talent Strategist. She is a TED fellow and Haramabean. She co-founded Brave (an HR tech company) and co-founded the iHub (Tech Hub) with Erik Hersman. She is currently the Managing Partner at Platform01, where she works with growth companies to align their business goals and talent strategy.
She is currently the first female in tech and music to release a music single (Momentum) as an NFT in Kenya. She is passionate about how ecosystems arise and evolve over time and has built various communities in the last 10+ years from tech and product, startups, corporates, and investors. She is now working her way into the Web3 community.
