Challenge Ideas:

  • Precision Farming Solution: Develop a technology-driven solution that integrates IoT sensors and data analytics to optimize crop management practices, such as irrigation scheduling, fertilizer application, and pest control, leading to increased yields and resource efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Traceability Platform: Create a blockchain-based system that enables transparent and secure tracking of agricultural products throughout the supply chain, ensuring food safety, quality control, and fair trade practices.
  • Smart Farm Monitoring System: Design a remote monitoring system using drones and satellite imagery to assess crop health, detect early signs of disease or nutrient deficiencies, and provide timely insights to farmers for proactive decision-making
  • Digital Extension Services: Build a mobile application or voice-based platform that delivers personalized agricultural advisory services to farmers, including weather forecasts, crop recommendations, and best practices for sustainable farming, fostering knowledge-sharing and capacity-building in rural communities.
